The Rig Manager is the supervisor on site and is in charge of the rig.
He is responsible to ensure the safety and efficiency of the crew, the equipment, and the overall operation. The Rig Manager's direction and leadership keeps the operation running smoothly and safely.
Rig Manager duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise day to day service rig operations
- Plan routes and obtain permits for rig moves
- Ensure all regulations and policies are followed
- Interact with Galleon’s President, Sales Representative, and HR & Finance Coordinator; and the Client Company’s Consultant
- Ensure equipment is maintained and clean
- Ensure crew is completing their tasks safely and efficiently
Minimum Requirements:
- H2S Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Blowout Prevention (BOP) Certificate
