Floorhands work primarily on the rig floor. Generally, two Floorhands are assigned to a service rig crew. 

Floorhand/Groundhand duties include, but are not limited to:

• Physical labour
• Run tongs
• Maintain and clean equipment, hand tools, etc.
• Complete any tasks assigned to them by other crew members.
• Cross-train with Derrickman’s position, to be able to fill in (if needed)

Minimum Requirements:

• H₂S Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
